Use this page to write to the independent publishers of publicschool.com.au. Write if a departmental link has moved, if an explanation on a guide is unclear, or if you have a question about the site itself.
Do not use this form to apply for a school place, to submit identity documents, or to ask for a catchment ruling. Those requests have to go to the school and to the education department that runs it. A message sent here cannot add a child to a wait-list, cannot sit a selective test, and cannot change a zone.
What to send, and what not to send
Helpful messages name the page you were reading and the official source you already checked. If a finder URL on a hub appears to have moved, paste the departmental page you think has replaced it.
Do not send scans of birth certificates, passports, visas, court orders, or medical reports. This site has no enrolment file to attach them to, and it should not hold them. If you have already sent something sensitive by mistake, say so in a follow-up without repeating the document.
Do not send a list of schools you want ranked. The site will not rank them. The choosing a public school guide explains the method; My School is ACARA’s profile tool if you need a published campus briefing.
Where official questions should go instead
- Enrolment, documents, orientation: the school named by the official finder.
- Zone disputes: the school first, then the department contact named on that jurisdiction’s enrolment pages.
- Selective tests: the departmental program page, not this inbox.
- Term dates: the departmental calendar.
- Privacy complaints about this site: see privacy.
If you are in the middle of an enrolment week, send the time-critical message to the school even if you also write here. Independent publishers cannot move a departmental queue.
The form below is sent to the site’s contact address. It is for correspondence about the guide. A reply, when it comes, will still point you back to the official source wherever a child’s place is at stake.
If the form is unavailable, the same limits apply to any email you send: no identity documents, no expectation of an enrolment outcome, and no request for a personalised ranking. A short message that names a page and a broken official link is more useful than a long message that restates a child’s whole schooling history.
This inbox cannot see inside a departmental portal. It cannot tell you whether a particular campus still has out-of-area places this week. It cannot interpret a visa subclass. Those answers live with the school and the department named on the relevant state hub.
For the legal limits of this site, read the disclaimer. For who publishes it, read about. For how a message is stored, read privacy. If your question is “which school is best”, the honest reply will still be: use the official finder, visit if you can, and do not expect this inbox to invent a ranking.
